Sunday, 19th May 2024 - Homeward bound

Repacked our bags this morning for the flight home.  A 70k drive to Hamilton where we had breakfast before the 100km trip up the expressway back to Auckland and the airport.  Dropped off the car at Europcar and then found somewhere at the airport for a late lunch.

Our flight left Auckland at 4:15 so we were treated to nice evening effects on our way back to the Gold Coast where Bradley was waiting to take us home.

Loved North Island, particularly the Rotorua area which, with all the thermal activity is so different to anything we have in Australia.
