6 July 2012 - Judd's Lagoon to Mitchell (155km)

Yesterday was a 552km drive from Mullumbimby to Judd's Lagoon, a favourite camping spot just off the Warrego Highway and south of Yulebar (60km east of Roma).  It's a large level campground on the edge of the lagoon.

It was a very cold night last night and we woke to find the water frozen in the camper kitchen.  The wine dregs at the bottom of one of the glasses was even frozen.  That's cold.

We're off to Mitchell today.  Called in at Roma to do some shopping and cuddle the large bottle tree.

At Mitchell, we had a soak in the artesian pool before setting up camp for the night at Neil Turner Weir just out of town.
