We walked down the main street to the water and back before we set off this morning - a pretty spot. As we get back to the Caravan Park a woman was restocking a tiny stall at the gate of the park with fruit and vegetables from her farm. We returned with money and bought bananas, tomatoes (Romas even for $2 bag), zucchinis and corn.
Lunch was by a lovely river - The Manilya. The Transport authority (whatever it's called in WA) have put in a number of these free stops - 24-hour camping, with toilets, dump point and picnic tables. A bit early for camping though.
The further we headed north (north-west) the more interesting the scenery became - termite mounds, huge boulders in one spot, flat-topped hills and spinifex. The hills in the distance turned to purple as the sun went down.
Camp tonight was at a roadside stop at House Creek. Another nice sunset.
We did, however, get a good nights sleep after things settled down.
