We travelled through western NSW to Broken Hill, then on to the Eyre Peninsular in South Australia. Across the Nullarbor, to Esperance and Cape Le Grand National Park. West to Albany and then north to Perth. From Perth up the coast past the Pinnacles, Kalbarri National Park and Steep Point (the most westerly point of the Australian mainland) as far as Carnarvon and then inland to the Pilbara and Karijini National Park. On to Newman then north to Marble Bar. After some time in Karlamilyi (Rudall River) national park (Australias most remote), on to Alice Springs across the Gary Junction Road then home via the Plenty Highway.
