Up early this morning for a walk through Burbie Canyon before breakfast. Initially, we walked along the road from the campground before heading up the gorge and then back along the Burbie Fire Trail to the Split Rock carpark and across the road to camp.
After breakfast and a lazy morning, we returned to the visitors centre and took the Gurianawa Track, a one-kilometre paved circuit with views of Grand High Tops and Siding Springs Observatory.
Back at camp we lit our fire and watched the mountain turn orange once again.
