TRIP LIST

Thursday 12 February 2026 - Bicheno

Today's Plan is to walk part of the Bicheno Foreshore Track (although in the reverse order to what's shown on the map).  We started where it says 'Australian Merchant Navy' on the map and finished at the Blowhole ('Start' on the map).

It's quite a spectacular walk featuring lots of orange lichen-covered granite rocks starting near Peggy's Point, looking back over Waubs Bay and then continuing on to The Gulch (Bicheno's Harbour), where you look out over Governor Island and Aligator Rock and then on to the Blowhole.  The Blowhole was pretty disappointing today as the seas are quite flat at the moment.  We won't complain about that, though, as the flat seas were ideal for our cruise the other day and hopefully will remain so for our Wineglass Bay Cruise tomorrow.

A restful afternoon followed by dinner tonight at Bicheno's Chinese Restaurant (keeping with the Asian theme).
