Near Valemount, we turned south for the run to Kamloops. Saw some whitetail dear along the road. Can't mistake these as they hold their very white tail high in the air when they run.
Called into Clearwater to find a farmers market in the swing. Had a breakfast of juice, 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, coffee all for $6.
Arrived in Kamloops early afternoon and after a little shopping located our couch surfing guests for the next two night, Gayle and Dale and daughters Katie and Marleigh. Lots of talking ( Dale is a teacher so lots of comparing the two systems) and a barbecue tea. So good to talk to local people about the area.
Went for a walk with Dale after tea. They regularly have black bears here, even in the back yard. Didn't see any bears but did see a beautiful sunset over Kamloops.
