Headed off to the Isle of Skye this morning. Stopped for coffee at Shieldaig a cute little fishing village with a tall ship anchored just off shore.
A lot of the road was single laned. Fortunately there are plenty of passing spots. Scenery is beautiful and saw a few highland cattle along the way. Tried to get photos but they wouldn’t look at us.
Across the bridge to Skye (apparently very controversial when it was built). Had lunch the pushed on to Portree where we had a walk around. Portree is the largest town on the island. Further north we camped the night at Uig. Had dinner at the Pier Restaurant – Mackerel with chips and salad.
