The weather was quite wild last night and wet on and off this morning – and cold. The bushfires are still causing concern, however.
This morning we waved Margaret and Arthur off as they have to be in Perth by Saturday for a Birthday Party. We will meet up with them (and Richard and Jennie) in Newman in a couple of weeks for our trip out to Karlamilyi National Park.
Breakfast in town (too bleak at the Caravan Park) at Dylans on the Terrace – very busy and a nice breakfast. Guess it's busy because it is at the top of the list for “best breakfast in Albany".
1. Walking about the CBD (and moving the car regularly as it is 1-hour parking). We walked across the walkway to the entertainment centre. There are big plans for this area - more entertainment venues, cafes, accommodation and a new Marina.
2. Shopping – Op Shops (for cold weather/wet weather clothes), Bunnings, Wollies (for groceries) and markets.
3. Dinner – at a Thai Resturant (as it's still too bleak to make our own back at camp). It was good but a bit expensive at around $28 per dish
