TRIP LIST

Friday 30th July 2021 - Bonshaw Weir to Mullumbimby

A nice slow breakfast enjoying the surrounds of Bonshaw Weir before heading home.

First stop was down the road to take some photos of tobacco drying kilns (or at least they were when tobacco was grown in the area).  Apparently, the Bonshaw/Ashford area grew 4% of the Australian crop back in the day. There is no tobacco grown for commercial use in Australia anymore.

A brief pause (a toilet stop) at Tenterfield where it was back on with the masks - for the first time since leaving Tenterfield over two weeks ago (we checked in with a QR code wherever we went in Queensland but no masks!) and then on to Casino for a late lunch - well actually coffee and cake as the kitchen had closed at 2pm.

From there it was home to Mullumbimby............
